"The Graveyard"

Perhaps California's White Mountains were a little more hospitible several thousand years ago, but now it seems to be a desolate high altitude graveyard for the Ancient Bristlecone Pines. Of course, there are still a number of them that live on, but this particular grove has seen better days; at least they've still got the best Sierra view one could hope for. (read blog entry)
