California: Creative Owens Valley Images

I have a special affinity for the Californian landscape since I was born and raised there. It is one of the most incredibly diverse landscapes I have ever been to, including deserts, dramatic mountain peaks, rugged coastlines, and some of the most awe inspiring forests and trees in the world.

Owens Valley, located between the Sierra Nevada and the White Mountains, is one of the deepest valleys in the world with a vertical relief of over 10,000 feet. This desert landscape is home to several beautiful areas including the Alabama Hills, the Buttermilks, Mono Lake, the Owens River, and some of the best fall color to be found in California. This is a collection of my favorite images from this area.
