"Ladybug Frenzy"

Thousands upon thousands of ladybugs were flying about during one of my trips to California's King's Canyon National Park. The warm weather brought them out of hiding. Seeing them flutter about in the sunlight was quite an experience - you can see a video of the phenomenon here: ladybug frenzy video in HD. Note: this image is composed of a stack of about 10 images to increase the number of bugs in the frame for artistic effect.
